My final day in London

London Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

Every UK trip of mine ends up becoming a London-Scotland affair, I felt I was neglecting the rest of England. So began my fortnight of discovery - Manchester, L'pool, York, Cambridge and finally 5 great days in and around London.

My final day in London

And here we go AGAIN! The clock's started ticking, I love you Dallas and I heard the Mavs are playing well but I don't want to get back.... !

I got up rather early and headed to M&S to buy chocolates. Turns out the store was going to open at 11am because of the Bank Holiday.... so I headed back to the hostel, had breakfast leisurely and purposely took my time chatting around. I left the hostel around 11am and headed to Oxford Street. I went to Topman first and bought a nice pair of fancy shoes. Walked down to the Ben Sherman flagship store on Carnaby Rd (I'd never been there before) and spent a few hours or so walking around Oxford Street.

I finished up around 2pm, went to M&S and bought my bikkies and chocolate for friends in the US, went to to the hostel to finish off my packing. Headed from there to Covent Garden for the evening show of "The Producers".

Early dinner was chick peas at a lovely Mediterranean rsnt @ St.Neal's Yard followed by a nice walk through the Piazza, and then headed to see the show. I loved the show! It's hilarious and a laugh riot all the way through, worth every penny.

Surprisingly, it had gotten quite cold when the play finished by about 10:30pm. But there was a really nice breeze and thank God I had my jumper with me... had a nice tube ride and my last "night"walk back to the hostel.
