I was going to learn some banjo playing on this trip but everything didn't go so well. The American guy, Patrick, who was going to have folk music workshops in Norway and Germany didn't come back from Germany as planned but flew to London. I had already booked the flights with no chance of cancelling them, so I was actually going to Norway without any reason... Sweet! Tor, a Norwegian guy offered his help by driving me around for 2 first days. Big hand to Tor!

Storvallen

We arrived to the hostel in Storvallen in the afternoon, and noticed that we're the only ones in the house, though we saw a glimpse of hostel owners. Storvallen seemed to be a kind of small village that would be full of life and action in winter seasons. I guess they skidoo here a lot. Maybe travelers who spend their days in ski-centers like Åre come here to "rest" and lodge.

So we went to a grocery store in Storlien and bought some things needed in making pizza. I found out that they have a powerful WLAN in the hostel (something like 24/4). So the day passed by in the hostel's kitchen-tv-room eating homemade pizza, playing guitar, chatting, surfing, napping and watching hilarious Swedish TV-shows (doobidoo). Having been awake for 32 hours I decided to get some real sleep.

Good night!
