When we went from Cienfuegos to Trinidad, I decided first to take a day rest. We stayed at a resort in Trinidad. By the sea, drinks and food for free. Some of the group went to a Key on 23 may, but I loved to stay in the resort for one day (with others) and enjoying the see, food and drinks. The group who visited the Key had also a great time, and there photo's were beautiful. Certainly when you be albe to stay for a few days in Trinidad, visiting an almost deserted Key is great for one day.
But a must is visiting this great, really most authentic town of Cuba we visited. The buildings, the roads, the entire city is completely old colonial.
On the second night we decided to eat for the second time by people and then go in the night life of this city. First we eat the most incredible lobster by local Cubans. And then, we visited a bar with the local music. People who could dance, danced the salsa. Also very nice was the local drink in Trinidad, which we off course drink all night, the Canchánchara. That is a mix of rum, lemon, honey and water, and is only served in a eartenware cup.
