I am Hitting All 50 States, Whether They Want me There Or Not!

Peru, Vermont Plus Bennington! - Mission Accomplished!

Is That George Bush in a Dress?!?

I finally made Vermont an honest woman in the Fall of 2008.  I had been there before, but there was no documentation which just cheapened the whole thing.  I needed proof and I always give my tasks 110% of my attention.

Originally, I had been to Vermont a few years back when I first moved to NYC for a snowboarding trip.  That trip ended up being a bit of a disaster.  Let me just say I am pretty athletic, but damn, I sucked at snowboarding.  Been there, done that, won't be invited back...  The worst part of the trip is that I didn't even get a photo of myself in Vermont as the 50 State Project didn't exist in my mind.

Well, I finally got it done thanks to the lovely town of Bennington.  Sure it wasn't quite what I expected, but I got some sweet apple butter out of the deal, so I can't complain!

I can be talked into Summertime, I am pretty easy going. I am not really big into the whole mud thing, so I am glad for the information. The closer I get the more information I will get from you. I have to have a better memeory than the last time I was there.

Then again I was partly to blame. I was wearing city folk heels on the side of a mountain...yeah...not smart...

Ha, I recommend summertime in VT. To everyone. Always. Although Autumn is my most fave season. And wintertime, meh, once you learn to master the trade it's not all that bad.

I think you should change your plans and stay away from "mud season" though, aka Spring. That's truly an experience that will leave a New Yorker w/a bad memory should you venture too far into "rural" Vermont. Just a heads-up.

I don't think Bromeley knows its name changed, so you are in good company! Damn, I really sucked at snowboarding... I am afraid to go back to the state now, bad memories...
