30 miles north of Amman is Jerash. It is an old Roman city. It really is famous, and yearly thousands of tourists come there to visit tho old Roman leftovers which a situated there. Or, better put, it is an intire old city there witch churches, a Forum, the Tetrapylon, Hadrian's arch, a circus hippodrome, two immense temples. If you love old culture, this city is really amazing! The Romans conquered in in 69, and the Roman emperors Trajanus and Hadrianus build an intire city. It has some much Roman temples and sightseeings, the city is nickmnamed "Asian Pompeii".

Dinner is no problem there, so before we went for a walk in the sun for a few hours, wich you need, it was time to dinner in front of the city.

Because so many visitors are coming to Jerash, the dinner centrum with all kinds of warm and fresh goods are open for everybody. Tip: wear a head! There is almost no shadow. You are in an old and dry city and not everything is standing up anymore after 2.000 years. We walked witch the entire group for 3 hours, listening to our Jordanese gide which had a story with every building building! It really is stunning, woth while for a visit. Our camera's made hundreds of pictures. And I must say, in an intere city it is not that crowded, it is so big there is enough time to see everything clearly without stepping on othermen's shoes.

After this day we went back to Amman, must people tired. After dinner, half stayed in the hotel to take the necesarry rest. I could not resist to visit Amman at night. We took a bus to the centre. It was really surprising how nice the people treated us there. The people made room for us on the crowded terrace to give us tea and the world famous waterpipe which I very much liked! After midnight we went to our beds. Tommorow we go to worldwonder Petra.
