Southeast Asia - waiting for the Upper Michigan snow to melt.

Foul Weather

Lucy didn't come home. Ken feared she wandered into a bad area, fell into wrong hands, and was eaten by neighbors. The pup had wandered our alleyway in a light rain and probably lost her trail back to the house.

Of my nearly seven weeks in Nha Trang, most days were overcast and many hampered by winds or rain.  Twice, rain persisted for more than three days. According to the expats living here it was the coldest season in memory. The long, wide beach remained mostly vacant those weeks as white-capped choppy seas met the shore with pounding surf. 'Beach days' were few and far between. From the arctic to the tropics, climates are changing.
