I wonder how it taste?!
Well, i was never one of those people who could think that I could eat a CUY, but out of curiosity and enjoying diversity, i gave it a try and its a chance of a lifetime (meaning im only there once). As soon as the CUY was served, we asked our server, just to chop the head and claws off. Let say the taste was not that bad, it tasted like chicken.... and before ordering a Cuy, some restaurants wants you to order them way ahead of time (like 2-3 hour), skinning them dead or alive, i would presume would be the hardest part... it was also quite expensive, i think we paid almost 20$ for the cuy..and you should be eating it with hands because the cuy is pretty bony(so yoo would be struggling with the knife and fork)but its one of the experience that you would never forget and if you are heading to Peru it should be in your checklist.. ...try it ...
