helsingor - hamlets castle

after roskilde i headed up to helsingor on the northeast coast of denmark. kronborg castle is located here, which is more famously known for the castle from hamlet.

the castle was quite nice, and is located right on the water overlooking a strategic point into the bay. one of the best part of the castle were the underground tunnels, which i could hardly find my way through at times as i had no flashlight.

there was also a pretty good maritime museum, though the last third of it seemed to be dedicated to freight shipping, which wasnt very interesting.
