Finally a day where I did not have to prepare for an interview or have to wear a suit! I started off by sleeping in most of the morning and missed the free breakfast (darn!). I decided to wander north of the city, towards the area of Norrebro. There was not much to see or do there as it was more of a residential neighborhood but it was great to see someting off the beaten track. Then it was a wander back to the shopping district for those presents for the family and friends.
In the afternoon, I met up with Archie for a coffee (and a big lunch for me) at, of all places, Norrebro! Archie, what can I say, was a cool guy that related some stories of living in Copenhagen, the neighborhood gang, parking meter maids, Danish taxes and the shenanigans of the local youth. Check out his blog of the riots that happened in the neighborhood. Archie then kindly drove me to see Amalienborg Slot and the Marble Church. It was there that I saw my boyhood dream car, a Citroen. It just reminds me of the "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown, and Don't Come Back!" cartoon. It was a perfect ending to a great trip!
