colours of morocco
We bound to the Atlantic coast from the valleys of high atlas mountains the ancient Phoenician town of Mogador and now since Independence, called Essaouira 'Little Picture'. Abandoned by the Portuguese in 1541....to relax in beautiful seaside! I was amazed the pretty seaside town of Essaouira the colourful fishing boats, with it's old port looks  busy  the fishermen with good catches of fresh seafoods, the canons overlooking the number of fishing boats. The next day i enjoyed so much wandering the cobblestone streets, whitewashed houses, perusing local galleries and thuya woodcarving workshops. I went inside a jewellery shop and while browsing the items the owner offered a cup of mint tea....as he said it's a symbol of friendship, welcome and hospitality in Morocco ( as i would like to add a sign of buying a jewellry item huh), well then... i ended up buying a pair of silver  earrings and a bracelet! So the 3rd day time to enjoy the beach, i didn't stay much on the water as it's so cold just lounging under the beach umbrella reading good book until i fall asleep for at least two hours...whew it's enough for me for a delightful relax day:)
