Venice-amazing.Villa in Palaia-stay in an apartment/villa best way to drive & see the country & meet the locals. Last nite in Palaia, went for dinner & owner of the restaurant plied us with homemade Limoncello Stopped at the local bar on the way home & met the most adorable Italian menwhew! Firenze.The David..The Acadamia was truly amazing!Il Duomo Beautiful and intricate architecture.I am so ready to move to Firenze & just wander the museums & gardens.Best way to celebrate one's birthday!

I just got the photos from my other friend Leslie (yes, 4 mos later) and had to update. Much better photos of me and the evil little chihuaha that attacked me. But the bar we stumbled upon was so cute. I think that is one of my favorite things about Venice, the little bars that are scattered all over. Pop in, have a drink (or 5) and keep going!
