Venice
I think I've figured out how to update this properly now...
We flew into Milan and took the train to Venice...managed to get on and off the Vaporetto without any trouble...and the people were reminiscent of those on a NY subway during rush hour!! LOL Get to our B&B (stop Val D'Oro off vaporetto). Room was very nice, had a patio 1 floor down, very cute. Then, went for some dinner in the rain! Found a cute bar, a tiny dog named Taco that took at bite out of me!!! Watch out for the Italian dogs!!! Next day up and out to explore the city! We cruised around the city on the vaporetto (and make sure you get the tickets stamped -- otherwise you get a 250EU fine). Can get great view of the city without spending tons of cash on the gondolas. Found Rialto Bridge ("Has anybody seen the bridge?") and market .. Tchaka (sp?) central and got our first bottle of Limoncello...Went to Doge and hung out with the pidgeons and other tourists. Dinner on the water with the most adorable waiters. I think they make them go through flirting training! Very good at it! Overall, loved Venice, the people, oh, and the food!! Even quick bites...you can find cheap and good food there!!
