The spirit of New Orleans is alive. While I spent my time in the
French Quarter I spoke to others about the city. There is a
tremendous spirit about the city. From the taxi driver to the
shop owner they see New Orleans as on the rebound. The food is as
wonderful as ever. I had dinner at NOLA twice during the trip; it
was as awesome as ever. Emeril's committment to restoring his
presence in New Orleans was very visible; BAM!
It has been years but the Cat's Meow, a karaoke bar on Bourbon St. is awesome. A friend on this trip sang there on two nights; he was awesome. The crowd would never have belived this was someone from Grove City, PA. Ryan rocked.
