Doctor Who
October 22, 2007
Well what a surprise it was to find a doctor who exhibition in Blackpool. I am a very big sci-fi fan as is my 3 year old son. So what more of a reason did I need to go in to an exhibition of props and costumes from one of the longest running and most famous sci-fi programs ever to be made with dodgy sets and rubber monsters. Check out the pics all you fans of doctor who.

The Illuminations
October 22, 2007
The trip to blackpool was long and drawn out. This is nothing compared to the long day we had on Monday. We started the day with a quick shopping trip and walk along the seafront. I bought myself a new set of walking boot on the Sunday and found them needed on this day. Catching the number 11 bus in to Blackpool and then a tram from Starr Gate, I kid you not, we arrived in a cold and windy cilty. We found a couple of market type shops that sold everything, even the things you don't need. With lunch time approaching we found a place to eat fish and chips. A long walk aroud the various parts of Blackpool looking at the Tower, beach and the piers we set off for the illuminations. What are they? Well check out the photos. I was not ready for what we saw. Lights of all discriptions. Well i have said enough about it look at the photos at let me know what you think.
What do I say. well this fish and chip shop has a great range of meals served with chips. We stopped off here on our illuminations tour of Blackpool. The food was fisrt class. Large portions and a good cup of coffee. If you are in Blackpool I would recommend that you go and have food. The staff were pleasent the shop was very clean and it made a great break from the walking. The only draw back was that it only had one toilet and for a party of seven it took some time to get sorted. But we did not mind. First rate chippie.
