Not a bad place to spend Christmas....

So it was up and out of Argentina and in to Chile again. After a quick stop to do some shopping to last us over Christmas it in to Torres del Paine National Park. Some amazing scenery with mountains and glacial lakes. We set up camp including christmas lights etc and have our Xmas eve drinks which continue till the early hours.

It's up and and Xmas day, started with a champagne breakfast with some yummy pancakes. Santa turns up and we all get a present. Then it's time to sort out the lamb to go on the spit, a couple of us take on the challenge of looking after it all day with a chilli bin close by of course. A few go walking od horse riding but I decide the lamb is way more important. But I do manage to get down to the lake for a Xmas day swim, dam it was cold!

The rest return from there different outings and the punch is made, and of course we start on that. We carve up the lamb which is fantastic!! And have dinner and generally enjoy Xmas night. Great fun.

Boxing day was fairly quiet with most of us relaxing and recovering from the night before. Play a bit of campground golf before heading out to do some fishing which was very unsuccesful.

The next day was again relaxing, a bit more campground golf (where Mark and I get thrashed by Muss and Andy) and chucking the rugby ball round. That is until lunch where we join another truck and it turns messy....... it gets a bit hazey here buy I don't get much sleep and am pretty rough the next day!
