So we get to La Paz, Bolivia and find a hostel. We then go for a wander round a few travel agencies to sort out a few things. Have a couple of drinks at the hostel before venturing out for our first steak dinner in 2 months!!!! We then hit a few bars and one leads to another and the next thing you know it´s 4am and I´m back at the hostel and Muss has the key, ace!!!
Up for another walk round the next day and prety much make a repeat performance of the night before except I make sure I´ve got the key this time! Sunday Katie, Hamish and I get up and head out, take in the Coco Museum and sor tout to go see some wrestling. This is hilarious think WWF on no budget. But real entertaining especially the last fight between two girl/guy teams.
Monday is the day we mountain bike down the worlds most dangerous road. Great fun with cliffs on one side and a share drop on the other. Basically it´s about 70km downhill, some on tarmac other on the dirt road. Amazing that up until the beginning of the year this was the only road ovr the pass. Basically trucks had to reverse into positions so other trucks could get past.
We leave Katie and Hamish after this and Muss and I head back to La Paz alone, we hooch round for the next day before heading to Uyuni and the salt flats on yet another overnight bus.....
