Cala Olivera, little bay in south Ibiza
And as the introductory image is from the top of mountain in Switzerland, where better to start off things then in Iibza, way from the cold and snow, warm water and relaxing beaches. Only that was not quite how it was. There was a task, a mission, and that mission was, should I choose to accept it, which I did, to photograph as many of the beaches and calas around the island in the shortest possible time. Interesting task which resulted in a *lot* of driving. I will attach images of what I consider to be some of the better places - but for me these normally mean the isolated, undeveloped areas with not a lot going on except the sound of gentle waves agains the shore.

Ther are more up on this interactive map of Ibiza beaches, which is really a virtual tour of the island and shows the fun I had while there (or at least the beaches I saw), but then for me, photogrpahy is fun. Especially the panoramic kind that can really show a place off.

These are the beaches whose photos I wil put up here:
Cala Olivera - empty and peaceful.
Cala Llosar - well the coastline, all steep cliffs
Cala Xucla - not a person around

Some of these are so isolated that they do not show in most of the guides - online or otherwise.
