Breathtaking views and a hot shower?

Was freezing a bit during the night. The weather was a lot better today! I had the
old lunchpack from yesterday as breakfast and it was truly horrible (what stupid
stuff I do to save food).
The walk up to Camp Britanico was at times steeper then I would have liked but the
views during the trek was breathtaking. Had lunch (100g chockolate) by a river at
Camp Britanico. It was so nice to get the feet out of the soaking wet shoes far a
while. Went up to the mirrador and had a great view over the valley.
I hurried down so I would have time to go Camp Peho in the evening. On the way down
I started to feel my knees again. It wasn't to bad but it could get worse...
Made my early dinner when I got back to the camp at 16:30. It so nice with
freezdried food when you are in a hurry, boil water, pour in the bag and just wait.
Got going at 17:45 and it took 2 hours to get to this emerald green lakee Peho where
there is a refugio and campsite.
It was quite windy but I managed to find a sheltered place for the tent.
It sure was nice to have a hot shower, a cup of espresso and a cold beer. OK I know
it is quite far from camping in the wild.
