My much needed escape from reality will take the form of 8 days in New York City in the dead of winter. Time to walk, time to think...maybe see snow...and spend my birthday with some of the people I love best.

I realized today that maybe we really had a shot of Christina going to NYC as well, which would be so great - and checking airfare, it seemed like maybe it could work?  So I sent her the note, and awaited her reply...
