We awoke the next morning, got some bagels and prepared to take Lorenzo out for his first day seeing New York City - or the continent of North America, for that matter!
We took him straight into Manhattan to the GE building at Rockefeller Plaza. He took a lot of great pictures and we walked around the ice skating rink. Then we headed north towards Central Park to the Apple Store; the one that looks like big glass cube. To Chris and Lo, this place was better than Santa's workshop I think. Bethy and I sat and talked while the boys gave the store a look over.
When they were done, we headed into FAO Schwarz. For those of you that have never been, it's worth at least one stop for anyone, young and old alike.

It's also a great place to find board games you've had trouble getting other places, because they have such a great selection.
We wandered the store while Lo took pictures of all the toys. Once we were done, we headed back to the subway to head to Grand Central so Lo could see it. I always love Grand Central; the people, the sound, and the look; the ceilings are my favorite. After walking around a bit, Beth was feeling poorly again so we hopped a cab home for a quiet night...
