I finally got to Phuket, southern Thailand. Geez, I'm not a fan of LONG bus rides but it was really cheap. There are tons of people in here, young peeps to be exact. They just graduated High School and taking a year off to travel the world (lucky!).
Planning to rent a motorbike is only $4 bucks a day. I'll probably do that tomorrow and head to the beach. My legs are a mess. The mosquitoes (in Bangkok at the Youth Hostel) really did a number on me. I gotta buy some aloe-vera to get rid of the bite marks.
I'm going to a caves exploration today, plus an island where a James Bond movie was filmed, 'Man with a Golden Gun'.

Yes, I'll try to find some tablets. A tuk tuk is a tricycle for passengers.
I'm back to Bangkok. I'm heading to Kanchanaburi, where the famous Bride over River Kwai is located. Oh, my back is hurting (by bags are way too heavy - I have to learn how to pack lite).
Yep, I treated myself to another Thai body massage - oh heaven. I will miss this $5 buck an hour thing.
I finally rode on an elephant!!! 'Me Tarzan, you Jane', and I have the photo to prove it. It was SO COOL. I think it’s the high light of my trip. My tour to the famous Phi Phi Island (The Beach was filmed there) was a bit dampened because it rained that day.

See if you can find some Brewers Yeast tablets. The bugs hate the aroma it secretes from your skin (you won't be able to notice anything). By the way, I won't believe any of it without pictures. What is a Tuk Tuk? Bob Drake
