Kalispera (good evening). Yes, I'm having a fabulous time. It's all about the beach, getting a tan, the food and the next itinerary was renting a moped (scooter) rented for 5 days. I climbed Mount Zeus in Filosi. Midway actually, to
where the Zeus cave is located. It was really rocky and slippery. Thank heavens I was wearing my merrell shoes. Stefan went to the Zenith. I was WAY too 'chicken' to reach the top bec it was HOT and I'm out of water. There was a group of French high school students who went jumping on the rocks and running up - like it was nothing. So, I basically waited midway of the mountain till Stefan came back from the top.
Renting the moped was an awesome idea bec we were able to get all around Naxos. So far. We explored the West Side - North and South parts. We stumbled upon another Greek temple ruin, Temple of Demetra in Sagri, and it was just magical or spiritual being there.
Nice to see topless women in the beaches as well. Dang, the euro money and prices are killing me here. We were shopping more at the grocery stores for supplies to save more money. A older guy (upper forties) from Lithuania (I think) was trying to pick me up. I guess looking like a tourist, he probably thought I'm an easy deal. Maybe if he 'looked like' Clive Owen I might have.
