Manitoulin Island .... if you love the outdoors this is a must to see
Want to experience the largest fresh water island then go to Manitoulin Island in Ontario ... it's full of lakes, lakes, and more lakes and I can't forget the rivers also ... Salmon running up river and spawning then floating around having completed their life cycle
The trails here are steep and adventurous full old rocks and trees ... we always make a point to go in the fall to see the beauty fall brings to the many trees that live here ... reaching the top of the Cup and Saucer trails where the vast beauty of forests abounds Manitoulin Island ... you have to see it!!!
In the summer we have camped on Manitoulin Island and return to cup & saucer to walk the trails ... I love setting up tent and having lake front at our campsite ... the girls will play all day in the lake, even though the lakes are a bit on the frigid side ... it's nice jumping in just to cool off from the heat ... our dog always comes and she loves the water, and the walks along the trails in Manitoulin Island
