up up and away...
this was the day. after being on a birthdayparty til 11pm the evening before, we had to get up about 2am. we ordered our cab for 3am and it took us right to the main trainstation in bochum. at 4.30am we arrived at the airport in düsseldorf.
at 7am our "little" alitalia plane took us to the airport malpensa in milan and around 11am the "big" plane started and brought us in nearly 8 hours to toronto.
Canada, here we are!!!!
Dirk, our friend picked us up at the airport and after one hour driving we arrived in waterloo and occupied his university-appartement. his mates were not at home because of going somewhere during reading week ;). we took a shower and then we started the little showing-around-tour in waterloo. we had a stop at "Tim Horton's" but it was soooooo cold (-18°C) and we were not used to it.
since our day was about 24hours long we ordered pizza from a delivery service and at 9pm (about 2am our hometime) we fall asleep.
