driving to detroit...

in the morning we had a snow storm. today was our travelday. we wanted to go to detroit, usa. don't ask why, iv'e no idea.
So after 4 1/2 hrs driving we drove over "Bridge to USA" and the procedure to get into the USA took about one hours. we had to left everything in our car and then they took a picture and fingerprints, we'd to fill out that visawaiver-form and they copied our passports.
after that we drove directly to our hotel (guess it was a Holiday Inn, not sure). the weather cleared up and detroit welcomed us with sun and "high" temperature (about 2°C). later on that day we did all that tourist stuff: red wings arena, hard rock cafe, people mover, greek town. but that's all detroit showed us. we thought, there were some musuems about building cars or stuff like that.
greek town is the touristcenter of detroit, but a lot of strange people were there. the good thing about detroit was that all the stuff from Superbowl XL was soooo cheap ;). i shopped 'til i dropped!
all in all, we didn't like detroit that much. after one night staying there we left the city.
