Classy hotel on the outskirts of Roma
The Albani Hotel in Rome, Italy was quite amazing. I went with a group, so I'm not sure of the cost per person per room or what not, but the rooms were amazing. Located in northeastern Rome, this hotel is about a 20-minute subway ride to the other side of Rome, near Vatican City. The rooms are well-equipped and trendy...very modern, very sleek, very new. Reception was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for places to eat, places to see, etc. They even offer a Roma Pass, an....18 euro? card that gives you transportation and entrance into 2 museums for a largely reduced price. I'm not sure all the benefits, but it was good enough to get one. A nice tv, bathroom, and wireless internet access in the lobby make this hotel one of the top choices in Rome. And you get complimentary slippers for staying there!
