The 29th was almost a repeat of the 28th, until we got back to the hostel after midnight, so anything worth writing was really the 30th. I walked in to the common room, about 2 am, and it had basically become a concert hall. A group of about 10 from the Canary Islands was staying there, they were all singing and one was playing the guitar. They continued for about an hour after I got there, & it was really great.
In the morning, I was able to move into my room. I was pretty surprised when I saw how small the room is. The weekend had been so full of meeting & talking with people from the hostel, that I never really had any time alone. But when I entered the room for the first time & thought about how this was now my "home" and all these people I'd become friends with over the past couple days were about to move on to their next destination ... it was my first pang of feeling alone in a foreign country.
I had left my two big bags at the hostel, so I headed back there. I arrived right as the four Aussies were heading out to catch their bus. Shane and I walked with to have lunch with them at Gallery Krakowska - a mall right next to the main train/bus station.
