I liked the room and the view. There were other places for much less money, from 40Q. I was really comfortable and my view of the lake was just what you see on the pictures.
I ate in a restaurant at the border of the lake next to my hotel.
I had breakfast next day at the market with the locals, my typical beans with freshly made tortillas, mush (The oatmeal drink) and one avocado. It came to 2Q for the mush, 3Q for one avocado, 2Q for beans and tortillas and and 3Q for a fresh orange juice. That was 10Q, $1.30 Dollar. I enjoyed my breakfast and the walk from the hotel to the market. There was a parade and I watched it. I took some pictures. The radio covered the parade in both languages, Spanish and another Mayan.
Then I took a touristic minivan for $5 dlls from Panajachel to Antigua instead of taking the bus, I wanted to try also this form of transport. It was supposed to be direct and more comfortable. Of course more expensive. I used the company "Universal", which was the one that offered the best price. There were many others but charged much more. I left at 10:30 AM.
