Mojo Surf

After two follwing days at the beach, tuesday I opted to go to.. the beach. Every tuesday, Mojo Surf and the WakeUp! hostel organise a surfday at one the beaches in Sydney. For a couple of bucks they get you to the beach, organise games and fun and generally just have a great time with everyone from the hostel. This tuesday was Palm Beach, an hour north of Sydney and, apparentely, the set of Home and Away, a drama/soap that's a biggie in the UK and Aussie. Doesn't ring a bell with me though, but it was fun to walk on the sets and check out what the fuss was all about. All in all a nice day, and I would recommend it to everyone! The Mojo guys are way cool, and I'm definitely thinking of signing up on one of their five day surf tours.

For now, it's already time again to leave Sydney, which is a real pity. After a slow start I really enjoyed the last few days. I'll be back at the end of December though, so no worries there. Later in the day I'll be catching the train down to Bowral, hopefully for some wicked parties! Crazy parties were the only thing I missed out on while in Syd, so I have some cathing up to do. In Bowral I'll be staying with Chloe, a friend of mine a met on my sports trip in Australia in 2006, and then later she stayed at my house when she was on a trip in Europe. It'll be pretty good to see her and everyone else I know in Bowral again!
