A fairytail
Dear boys and girls, today I'm going to tell you a story about out little friend Ape. Ape lived in a big forest not far from here, and he had a very pleasant life. His family cared about him and loved him, and Ape had many good friends all over the forest. One day, Ape decided to make a trip to the other side of the forest. He packed his belongings, said goodbye to his family and friends and went his way. On and on he went. Every now and then he could fly on the back of a friendly bird. Ape met lots of other animals on his journey, most of which were very kind. Sometimes Ape stayed a couple of days with his new friends, sometimes he travelled to other parts of the forest with them and sometimes he travelled alone. Whichever way, Ape had a great time.
One day, little Ape found a bird that was willing to take him to another part of the forest. This bird was called Jetstar, daughter of Qantas. Ape was very happy to fly with this bird. But just when he and the other animals were about to climb on the birds back, the sky turned black, heavy raindrops started falling and lightning bolts flashed through the darkness! This weather was very unusual for the part of the forest they were in, and Jetstar got nervous. She told all the animals that she didn't feel comfortable about flying that night, but she would take them the next morning.
Some of the animals got very angry and started yelling at the friendly bird. They were very upset and blamed the bird, but of course she couldn't do anything about the weather! One of the animals, a big Bear, even got mad at Ape! Little Ape didn't understand why the other animals were so angry.
Surely the weather wouldn't change if everyone yelled and shouted? The bird was very sad and sorry, and made sure everyone had accomodation for the night. She promised they would try to fly again the next morning. The following morning the skies had cleared and they could continue their journey. Everyone was happy again, even the animals that were so angry the night before. The Bear felt bad about getting so angry the night before and apologized to Little Ape. So, dear boys and girls, whenever something happens that noone has control over, accept it and always stay positive. Getting angry is no fun for anyone, and will most likely only ruin your own day. And when they're going to put you in the five star Hyatt Regency Hotel, you might as well enjoy it!
