First stop: Hamiltron
NZers call Hamilton "Hamiltron: the city of the future"....for what reason I do not know!
Let's be honest, there is not much to do in Hamilton besides get on the piss! I arrived in Auckland at 6am on Saturday and had a friend pick me up at the airport. Once we got to Hamilton, we went to a trolley derby (which included people rolling down a hill in man-made trolleys) at Waikato University. The first night I was forced to stay awake to make it out to the bars and somehow I managed to pull through. I spent a few nights there catching up with old friends and making new ones.
Besides the fact that most of my friends live in Hamilton, there is not much else there...unless you enjoy gardens....then you can entertain yourself at the Hamilton Gardens but that's not really what I am in to!
