home sweet home
December 16, 2007
After 18 months, 16 countries, 8 currencies, 2 summers at camp, 1
winter in England, 40 hostels, 5 hotels, 5 campgrounds, 19
other-people's-houses, and 6039 photos… I'm finally "home"!!
It's quite exciting being back in Australia, though a little strange to suddenly not be moving on to a new place every few days. I'm also finding it weird because it's not particularly weird, if that makes sense - it's just been so easy to slip back into Aussie life, and all the shops & buildings are the same, and the people are the same - it feels like I've been away for so long and therefore things should have changed, but at the same time if they had changed I wouldn't like that either!
So now it's time for summer number two of this year, and for me to sit back and relax for a while, and somewhere along the way for me to try to decide what I am going to do with the rest of my life...
