Best Mojitos Ever!

Barcelona is an amazing city! The architecture is amazing, the food is fantastic and the drinks are divine (especially if you get them from an off-the-beaten path pub that doesn't charge 15 euro each).
On our "one night in Barcelona" tour, we decided to walk the Barri Gotic and check out all of the neat pastry shops and other cool places. At one pastry shop, my friend asked for one cookie and the shopkeeper looked at my friend strangely, then picked up a cookie, looked at my friend again and back at the cookie, and then just handed the cookie to my friend without charge. It was only then that we realized the cookies were being sold by weight and she was taking pity on him that he was asking only for one tiny cookie.
After dinner at a fairly touristy restaurant on La Rambla, we hit the streets of Barcelona to find a place to hang out for a bit and we ended up behind La Catedral, in the courtyard area. We took a seat at one of the several outside tables and ordered a round of mojitos while we watched a street performer juggle flaming torches for a while. The mojitos were amazing! They were the best mojitos I've ever had -- including those served by the Cubans at restaurants in Puerto Rico and Miami. Somehow the bartender at the cafe in Barcelona made a flawless drink and as a final touch added an indented ice cube as a float in the top of the drink that he then filled with a perfect dark rum. The drinks really were the perfect blend of mint, sugar and both light and dark rum.
