A week in London, two weeks in Iceland, and a week in Edinburgh... Awesome!!! Iceland is such an amazing country, so natural and beautiful, and sparsely poplulated, such a refreshing change after England and Belgium :)

Iceland - Journal entry 1

21st July Reykjavik

We’re on the way to Gulfoss just leaving the BSI.

What an awesome place this is. So quiet for a capital city; so young; so much beautiful design. It is definitely expensive here, but no one seems to mind. The mountains around the city are great.

We met Tania in Heathrow; an Australian who’s been living in Iceland six years or so with her Icelandic fella and son.

We used the Reykjaik tourist card and saved a bunch while looking in museums and galleries; and on the buses and internet. About 3000isk for 1200.

Now I’m just going to watch this amazing country.
