the days I spent in san lucas were magical

day 1 - arrived in cabos, found place to stay and headed back out to the town, shopping and sightseeing. there are some great places to shop, like the flea market and Puerto paraiso. Had some marlin tacos (first time ever!!)

day 2- rented a car and headed over to Todos santos. Visited the Hotel california but sadly didnt get to hear the band play. lunched on some carnitas and had a beer. continued on to La paz and walked along the malecon with a Michoacana ice cream. visited the zocalo and attended a bit of mass, then headed back to cabo. went to the beach at night with a friend and eventually got back to the hotel at midnight

day 3 - headed over to san jose del cabo for a day at the beach. sadly the waves were too ferocious for swimming and I just ended up heading back to san lucas.

not before I made friends with a great guy from cancun who sold me a pkg for a sunset cruise later that evening. the sunset cruise was fabulous! for only 30 bucks, you got dinner, free drinks all night and a 3 hour cruise to see the famous los arcos. the atmosphere on the boat was fantastic and they played a medley of songs for all ages and stages. to say I had a ball would be an understatement

day 4 - walked to playa medano and had breakfast at a little cafe on the beach. afterwards, just relaxed underneath a palapa and then went for a swim. the water is fantasic for swimming or snorkelling. amazing clarity and no big waves. caught a bus to the airport and arrived back in Toluca suntanned and tired but really really happy
