So, I found a secret place... don't tell anyone, or if you do, only people who are not into spoiling mother nature's gifts to her children...

I have been on a mission for healing ever since my last year in the public school system in Austin, Texas...my body has been craving re birth...and I found a great place that helped me further down my path...

The Jemez Springs Bath House is a village owned and operated facility. The ladies who work there are kind, friendly people... Shelley was my massage therapist and she did a number on my tired body... the baths are older tubs where you can control the temperature of the water.... the hot water comes out scalding hot , more than 150 degrees...so cool it down....it has healing properties and contains various minerals that are listed in abundance on a sign posted outside the small, adobe house.  I liked the casualness of this place,  unpretentious in it's style, like stepping back in time...simple, ahhh!!! love simple...

I stayed at a national park campsite down the road for ten dollars...the area was brimming with park land for hiking, fishing, and the like... there were also many road cyclists venturing up and down the steep mountain paths.

I would have stayed there forever, but cost of property sent me on my way... it is a lovely, lovely place....
