New York, New York... my last day here? no way ;)

My friend just told me he had to go back home. He had to attend to a wedding and we had to go back. We??? No, no, no, it was my 1st time in NYC and I didn’t want to leave this amazing city!
So, we made a deal. I would look for a place to stay. His friends had to leave the city too :( If I succeed, I would stay. And… I did it!
First thing I did in the morning was going to the
I did the line and took the elevator in order to go to the top. While I was climbing the stairs one of the guys who worked there, asked me where I was from. I said to him, I was Peruvian and he started talking in Spanish, he was Peruvian too, hahaha. He gave me the maps and a souvenir pen for free :) I remember his name: Tomas! He was really helpful and gave me some tips ;)
I was a bit worried about the accommodation, so once I was ready I looked for a phone and made a couple of calls. I was lucky and one hostel had a free bed for me!
So, I kept on walking around feeling much better. It was time for visiting the
Suddenly I noticed it was almost 1pm. I had to go back to
The adventure was starting…
I arrived to the hostel and when I was trying to check me in, the guy told me there was no space. I was surprised! He told me he’d do his best. The person who confirmed the space to me by phone wasn’t aware of the people who were coming that day… He gave me a bed anyway, but it wasn’t 100% sure I’d be able to spend the night in that room. Maybe I should move to another one. Ok, no problem. I just took a shower and went back to Downtown.

At the hostel I was just thinking about going to bed early when I met a nice German guy. Daniel told me he just met a Japanese girl at the hostel and they wanted to go out for a beer later. So he invited me to join them :)
While we were waiting for Akane, he was checking his emails and I met a friendly guy from
Akane came we took the Metro and went to the
It was a bit late, but this city is always awake! And I wasn’t’ alone, that was even better.
