Jean Michel Jarre was the first ever musican to perform in China after Maos dead. That was in 1981.
In 2004 Jean Michel Jarre returned to China during the year of France with yet another revolutionairy concert project.
The concert was staged 2 places in Beijing. The biggest stage was be placed on the South Side of the Meridian Gate in the Forbidden City. The other stage was free for anyone to attend and was placed in the Tiananmen Square.
The concert was the first ever concert performed in 5.1 Surroundsound and there was placed 4 big high difinition screens around in Beijing so everyone could enjoy this great event. The concert were also broadcasted live in Chinese TV CCTV, France 2 and HDTV.
The concert were also broadcasted live in some cinemas around in Europe.
