we got the ferry here
This was my last day in Vancouver, WA. I woke early and was dressed when Marty knocked on my door, we had a 3 hour car trip through Washington State to Seattle - Tacoma airport, my flight was due to leave about 6.30pm. It was about 7am the time we left the house, we stopped at Burger King and got a breakfast which was so yummy but looked disgusting, im not really a big fan of BK! It was a rainy day in Washington, (very common apparently!) and i just sat there watching out of the window and saw the most wonderful sights. The Northwest is so green, i love the huge trees and the air is so good. I got some very nice photos as we weaved through Washington State. We stopped at the place where we caught the ferry although i cant remember the name of it and me and Emmy went and had cold stone which was so good!T he weather improved by the time we caught the ferry across the Puget Sound to Seattle, George managed to fall asleep on the ferry, he's so funny he can fall asleep anywhere! we parked up (which took about half an hour!) on a steep road which remind me of the roads in San Francisco from what iv seen on TV, we had lunch in a tiny Chinese restaurant in Pike Place Market, the american portions of food are so much bigger than the UK and i was full very quickly! After a walk through the market which was so busy but we saw lots of interesting little stalls especially the pretty flower ones very nice! next we went to the Space Needle but we couldnt afford to go up it, it was quite expensive($20+) so we just walked around instead i was annoyed that i hadnt saved enough money to go up the space needle doh silly boy!.
Space Needle say 'howdy!'
The sun was shining and the day had turned out very well. Marty, George and Emmy said goodbye to me at the airport and we had photos taken and we all hugged, i was so sad to be saying goodbye i knew i was going to miss them so much but i was excited because i knew i was going to be back the following march and i would get to go on vacation with them to Mexico, so i was on my way back home. Although  i only got a peek at Seattle, i liked what i saw, Id love to go back, its a very exciting city! I sat next to all these older ladies on the plane who kept offering sudoku game books to me but i cant play its too clever for me to handle! And my TV on the seat in front of me broke so i couldnt watch anything although my interest was taken for a while when it played a shaky version of Blood Diamond in spanish and then it broke again and so i managed to grab a few hours of sleep before arrival back into Heathrow, i managed to pass through immingration fairly ok and got my bags and met my stepdad, we drove home pretty quickly but got stuck in a big traffic jam 1 town over from mine but i fell asleep again even when my stepdad kept jabbing me and telling me not to fall asleep as i wont sleep later but i couldnt help it i was so ZZZZZZZZ.
