Ein posen, ein posen...
September 25, 2007
I came. I saw. I conquered.
Oktoberfest had always been on my list of things to do before I die. Now I can check that off the list.
When we decided to have our first reunion for my master's class in Europe, the natural choice was Munich for the annual Veisen, as two of our classmates lived there and we could stay for free.
Most of my six days there was a drunken haze, but I think the pictures speak for themselves =)
But definitely check it out if you have a chance - the lederhosen (the capri-like suede and leather pants the men all don) and dirndls (busty traditional Bavarian dresses the German women all wear), not to mention all the happy singing and dancing and 70 millions of liter that are consumed each fest make it worth the trip!
