Felucca Safari Day 2

After a fairly good night’s sleep and a sleep in! (first one in days) we were looking forward to another relaxing day on the Felucca. Breakfast was similar to what we had out in the desert with the Bedouins so not too exciting. We sailed down the river for a while before stopping for lunch, sunbath and swim. It was really refreshing swimming in the Nile we just made sure we didn’t swallow any! Although it was clean because there was no Industry for miles only primitive natural farming and the river flowed fairly quickly so no chance of picking up Bilharzias. Going to the loo was a bit of an ordeal. Where we had pulled up there was one lone bush about 100 meters away and that was it! We trundled over to it only to find a farmer wasn’t too far away and was looking at us, so we headed back to the Nile and decided go in there instead!! So we polluted it ourselves LOL! After more sailing, relaxing, playing cards and draughts we finally pull up to a nice beach spot with palms and this was going to be our camp spot for the night.
