BEGINNING THE END: Reflecting and digesting everything on the Thai Islands
So.... this is the beginning of the end of my journey. My eyes and my mind have traveled far.
I have decided after 7 months of traveling, learning, growing, contemplating, discovering and meeting people of all ages, religions, backgrounds, cultures and perspectives - that it is now time to return home. I don't 'really' want to. I love the lifestyle of experiencing the world the way I have. But, I have goals, dreams and desires that await me in America. So, I will return now. Back to my family. Back to my friends. Back to my life in America.
The BEST way for me to prepare to return is to first spend time reflecting on the past 7 months, digesting what I have experienced and begin to realize the weight of my return. I decided to do this on the south Thai islands. Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi, Railay Beach and Koh Phangan.
Spending my last few weeks here, reading books, writing journals, organizing thoughts, remembering moments and digesting all that I've done is what I need to do now. I want to down-shift experiencing things and jump-start digesting them. There is no better place to do it that the incredibly beautiful, chilled out and mezmerizing Thai islands. Enjoy the photos....
