Wooohooo

So here we are...

After a very long journey on what was a very bumpy ride we're finally here... Even though i have only been here for 2 days we have done loads of stuff... The first thing that hits u as we walked out of the large new airport is the extreme humidity, it's like nothing i have every experienced before, but being a lover of warm climates its the nutts :) .

We got a cab to the Ko Sang road where we found somewhere to stay (Dee's inn) very nice and has a pool on the roof that overlooks the city.. and guess what - only 1000 baht for Craig and i in a room per night, and its 4 star too! 1000 baht is around 15 quid, split in half thats 7.50.. so 7 pounds per night for a lovely room right in the middle of it... top!

After dropping our stuff of Craig and i met a really nice Thai bloke called YoYo who took us around the city on a Tuk Tuk (cab motorbike thing ma jiggy) for 100 baht, about 10p hahah!

We then hit the town to celebrate our first night, i turned up back at the hotel early afternoon with my mates wondering what happend to me lol! We got on it :)

Today we took a boat along the river and then through what i can only describe as river streets with shanty town stlye shacks either side, washing and all flapping in the warm air, was quite an experience and shook as i have never seen anything like it.

. A Quick word about the Thai people, VERY friendly, i spose that why they call it the land of smiles, but have to keep you're gaurd up as they will con u at at the drop of a hat. YoYo are cab driver had to be told about 300 times not to take us to the ping pong show.... just yet anyway :P

Right my minutes are running out so have to shoot... Thanks for the emails and messages from Friends/Family and i will be in touch when i jump on a computer next... Right for me im off out to the famous Pat Pong... should be fun!
