Never thought about traveling to Chile until my best friends asked me to go to visit family with them...had the time of my life! My trip ranged from staying with family in Santiago, to chillin in the mellow beach town of Iqueque with our newly found surfer boy-friends. We lived in people's homes, in dirty dirty hostels, didn't shower for some days, and "bummed it", according to some, but had the absolute best time! Check out some of my pics-

We visited the coastal town of Valparaiso for the day. It was a short drive from Santiago and definitely worth the visit. We nearly had the beach to ourselves- and it was the Summer. Here- we learned just how funny Chilean men are. My friends and I decided to wear our Brazilian bikinis to the beach- which leaves little to the imagination, might I add...but , the smaller the bikini, the better! We literally had the beach to ourselves... so much room to lay out...so much room that others didn't have to lay right next to us either. So we thought! We see one guy that is hovering us, trying to figure out a good place to post up and check us out without being too offensive, I guess. Yup, nope! IF you look in the picture with my friend putting oil all over my backside, picture a man laying down 2 feet away from my feet, facing my ass! Literally! Laying two feet away staring at our asses! I've learned to ignore men that check me out, but this was so blatant, it was funny. My friends and I were like , "You've got to be kidding me! Do you really need to lay this close to us while checking out our thong bikinis?" I don't think he realized that he was making us uncomfortable, until we told him to go lay down somewhere else. Chilean men are too funny.

Maybe it's just the guy in me saying this, but.. I can hardly blame the guy :)
