Started off my treat for my wife by staying in the Southfork Hotel the night before I took her to tour the South Fork Ranch. There is a Lounge area and Restaurant on site. Room Service available. The rooms we got were reasonable (for the DFW area) but more expensive Executive Suites are available. Figure on $89-99/night depending on day of week and season. Has a pool, and vending on each floor. If you let them know you're there to visit South Fork, they can provide Transportation To and From. We also chatted them up and found out (small world) the receptionist's husband and I served on the same ship years ago. Viola! Free enterance tickets to SF Ranch.
