Vancouver Canada - in the clouds

On Tuesday we took the train over the border into Canada, to spend a couple of days in Vancouver. Unfortunately it rained for most of the time we were there, which was a bit of a bummer! We loved the rain in Seattle, as a bit of precipitation is part of the whole Seattle experience. But in Vancouver we could have done with a bit of sunshine as it was hard to see the beautiful harbour and mountains through the cloud!

Nevertheless, we did try and see what we could. We visited the aquarium, where we saw the bizarre looking Beluga whales – big white bulbous things with all sort of bumps in unexpected places. We went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, set amongst an amazing forest in North Vancouver. And we ventured some of the way up Grouse Mountain, a famous mountain that overlooks the city of Vancouver. It was grouse.
