Red flags, bright sun, two lands and me - this time in Istambul.
Only and as much one day in Istambul, the city with 15 millions of people and 1 538,77 km² area, which never stops. Being there is visit on the two continents: Europe and Asia, two amazing cultures and completely different people. Of course also Kebap, one-of-a-kind toilets - holes in the ground (in restaurant exclusive holes in the ground), Turkish street markets, haggle out of necessity of in every situation you are and tradesmen who can sell you absolutely everything, no matter if you need it or not. Moreover, incredible sign of pride of being Turkish: flags in the hole city and music all around you: in the streets,
markets, shops, mosques and houses. Decorations on the buildings, noise and loud laugh. In Istambul new and old, east and west, young and old, beauty and ugliness, wealth and poverty - everything exist side by side. I couldn't forget, of course, about trafic. For average European there can be 4 cars in the 4 lanes. Average Turkish will make 7 lanes from the same road.
This is what I remembered from Istambul on the eve of Ramadan.
