Cigars, Posh Hotels and the Smallest Car you've ever seen.

Our final night in Cuba would have to be special. During the day we started with a cigar tour in the cigar factory. Yer man that gave it was class. He was a legend. Young guy in his twenties and he had decent English. The best line was... 'Cigars do NOT give you Lung cancer. You will not get Lung Cancer from Cigars. Mouth Cancer on the other hand is very easy to get'. We mostly asked what the story was about the salary and privatisation of the cigar business and we learned that the country owned it all. Their wages were fuck all as well. But like every great entrepreneurial mind, they didn't rely on the straight wages. Anyway, Rab bought some cigars and we wandered around the shops and I bought some stuff for people back home. We had the usual daquiris at hemingways and another mojito at bodequita.

That evening we went to a nice posh restaraunt pretty high up and had a great laugh. It was there that we opened the cigars and I had my first cigar. Jesus they are horrible. Uuugh. Didn't make it past one of them. Had a few tokes and that was it. After dinner, outside, we hailed a taxi... and this was the smallest taxi I have ever seen in my life. it was tiny. I could barely fit in, never mind Rab. We were so close to the ground I could practically feel the road beneath my feet. It took us a few blocks to a posh hotel where we had another go at the cigars (Rab smoked his away while I used them for good photo ops) Then we also did our standard Rab and Owen Tequila Drinking Session with this class travelling shot glass that Rab and Michelle had bought me last Christmas!! Had a great laugh and then headed back to our own posh but less posh hotel!
