'The Stresses of Travelling' or... 'The Beach Days!'
November 13, 2007
We spent the next two days sunning ourselves on the beach, eating fruit and fish and generally chilling out by the sea. I tell you, sometimes all this travelling malarkey can be really stressful!
About the most stressful thing that I had to do was decide which t-shirt and boardies to buy from the surf shop. (A pair of Quiksilver board-shorts and two t-shirts cost me just over 50 quid. A bargain!)
***
I also made two new friends, Michelle (from Brighton) and Andi (short for Andrea, from Leicester), who had moved in 'next-door' to Gaby & I. Two nice girls who we spent the night with in Jibes which is more expensive than the other places - 50p for a beer! - but with a complimentary plate of bruschetta and pesto. Plus of course, it’s all about the atmosphere - or ambience! - and some decent ambient/lounge music is worth paying a little extra for.

As I’ve already said, sometimes this travelling can take it’s toll on you!
