Trying to leave Houston!

Called a taxi to take me to the train station. I wanted to arrive early, so I got there around 9:00AM. The Sunset Limited was due to arrive at 10:55AM. It was late. Very late.
The train pulled into the station at 2:40PM.
I found out after I boarded why the train was late. A passenger had died somewhere in New Mexico. The train had to stop at the next station and wait for a coroner to show up and claim the body.
Anyways, I met some nice people on this leg of the trip, one being a student from Tokyo who was going to New Orleans also. We arrived in New Orleans at 1:00AM, 4 1/2 hours late. Roaming around downtown New Orleans at 1:00AM is not the best thing in the world!
